I have tested this pump and it worked terrific. To start pumping, I had to prime it by removing the prime plug on the top, adding some water putting the plug back in and then it roared to 5 gallon bucket and no time you get what is shown you will add your own hoes to, the one side that does not have the valve on it. There was some insulation missing on the part of the electrical cord that goes into the pump so an abundance of caution. I wrap some electrical tape around it, but there are no exposed wires or anything like that. I just wanted to be extra cautious.
