For this listing we offer a PHOTOCOPY of 1/32 Scale Plans for a 1961 Formula 1 GP Ferrari AND a 1956 750 Monza Ferrari. This is a one-page PHOTOCOPY out of a vintage slot car magazine. It is an 8 1/2" by 11" sheet of Premium Paper and will be mailed flat. Text and plans by Jose Rodriguez, Jr. From the Sheet: Use these accurate 1/32 scale plans to add these winners to your racing stable. Leaving the old 2.5 litre Formula behind, Ferrari came back in 1961 to dominate the Grand Prix circuits with its new 1.5 litre "shark nose" cars. Much of their early success was probably due to the fact that, while the British opposition was wasting time arguing about the new Formula, the Italians were preparing this new rear-engine entry. Though the car appeared to have much in common with its predecessor, it was in fact a new car. Two engines were used, a 65 degree V6 developed from the F.2 Dino 156 and a new 120 degree V6. Early problems with balance were somewhat solved by the wide vee of the latter, which lowered the car's center of gravity.. See pics. My Dad owned a Hobby Shop that closed in the early 1970's, and he kept some of the more interesting slot cars and accessories from that era.
