Description: PHYSIQUE PICTORIAL - Vol. VII, No. II, Summer 1957. Vintage beefcake magazine created by the most famous & prolific physique photographer: Bob Mizer. Featuring Joe Leitel (front cover), Ed Fury, Frank Renault, Richard Harrison (back cover), Bob McCune, Nelson Herle, Steven Wengryn and others. On page 12 a scene of the play "The Little Hut" with Judy Cannon & Don Fuller. Art by Santiago (cover of the novel "Street of the Sun, by Lance Horner), William (Bill) Mac Lane and Art-Bob. In page 6 the blond Londoner Tony Wright in a picture that was a cover of the Spring 1957 edition of Physique Artistry magazine. There is a problem here. It is stated that this mag was published by Dominique of London. However, some reputable sources say it was by Alonzo Hanagan (Lon Studios), a Joe Weider's partner. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the problematic cover. Uncirculated with storage/age problems as some eroding on spine, brownish/reddish discoloration around spine & edges, frayed edges, soiling, worn corners, bumping and others. Magazine is still in very good condition for its age and complete. Many of these vintage magazines have rusty staples and a musty smell, they are almost an age trademark.
