Description: Pair of high end Hand Carved Louis XVI Style Child’s Chairs with Oval Backs. Beautifully detailed with fluted legs and rosette decorated front joints. The apron and oval back have a shaped profile. Some pegged construction. Unknown hardwood that approximates beechwood, with an antiqued wash finish. Green damask upholstery on firm seats. Both are in Exceptional condition. Structurally perfect. There is some very minor wear to the seat of one of the chair - they looked to be covered in a man-made fiber fabric, which may be cleanable. Otherwise, they are mint. Dimensions: 29” tall. The oval back rest is 11” wide and 14” high. The seats measure 14” wide, 13” deep and 15.5” high. The chairs are 17” deep from front to back.
