Rare, as poster was issued at the begging of 1950s when communists completely took the power in Czechoslovakia and practically all churches were illegal. The church was founded in 1920 by the activities of modernist-minded Roman Catholic priests, separating from the Roman Catholic Church and only following the Hussite movement. During the Second World War, it was banned in Slovakia, and in the territory of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia it was called the Czech-Moravian Church. After the war, it returned to the name Czechoslovak Church. It received the title Hussite only in 1971.The Church considers the Bible composed of the Old and New Testaments to be the source of faith. Hussite theology accepts church tradition, but only that which it considers to be in accordance with the Bible. It administers seven sacraments: baptism, the Lord's Supper, confirmation, penance, marriage, consecration to the priesthood and consolation of the sick. Women are also ordained to the spiritual office. Clergy celibacy is voluntary. The Lord's Supper is served in both ways (host and wine) and confession is common, during the service. It is also possible to ask a clergyman for a private confession or a spiritual conversation. Divine services with the Lord's Supper are served according to the Liturgy of Karel Farsky, or the Second Liturgy of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. He serves the service of the word according to the Piety of Frantisek Kalouse. The Church is dogmatically very dynamic and places great emphasis on knowledge and individual freedom. During the service, the clergy wear a black robe with an embroidered red chalice on the chest and a stole. The black gown may also be replaced by a white alb, which also has an embroidered red chalice (Wiki).
