Description: Original 1921 antique color lithographed map of Philadelphia, printed more than 100 years ago. The image area measures 51 x 34.3 cm [20" x 13½"], and the coverage area extends from Cheltenham, in Montgomery County to the United States Navy Yard on League Island. There is extraordinary detail throughout. Streetcar routes are shown with hash lines, railroads are labeled, and there's a directory of wharves and ferries along the Delaware River, north and south of Market Street. Other named places and features include parks, cemeteries, public buildings, and neighborhoods. Condition: The map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with a horizontal center fold, as issued, and no marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. It was published by George Franklin Cram, Chicago in 1921 and is an original, authentic antique map, not a reproduction or modern reprint. It is fully guaranteed to be genuine and would make a very handsome display in your den or office. It would also make a perfect gift, and we'll include our helpful framing tips for your reference, along with a photocopy of the dated title page from the book in which it was published.
