Description: This is a vintage Omega Geneve Seamaster from the late 60’s to early 70’s. The watch holds good time and the date function works just as well. The case is shiny in most visible areas, and the movement is very clean. The movement itself is an authentic Omega 563, 17 jewel movement. There are service engravings on the inside of the case back however the last service date is unknown. There are several deep scratches on the caseback and several scuffs around the edges. Overall the dial is intact with minor flaking on the edges. The “glass” of the watch is acrylic, the original accurate material used at the time. The Omega logo on the glass is visible under magnification. A professional watch shop quoted a polishing of the acrylic at around $50-$70. The stem is for a 560-563 movement however I am not sure it’s original to the watch. The crown is an original Omega “flat top” crown from Switzerland.
