Description: Old Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Double Split Shank Cuff Bracelet Size 6in. This lovely Native American sterling silver and turquoise cuff bracelet was handcrafted by a Navajo artisan. A long oval blue turquoise stone is set in a smooth bezel setting on a sterling silver platform. Encircling the stone is a hand carved sterling silver braided rope. On the edge of the platform around the braided rope are silver beads and scrollwork. The artist finished the bracelet with a double split shank. The inner bracelet circumference measures 5.25" from one end to the other with a .75" opening, for a total of 6" long. The back of the bracelet is stamped STERLING. The turquoise stone measures 19mm long by 6.5mm wide. This old Native American sterling silver and turquoise cuff bracelet is in very good condition, as shown in the photos. It has some minor surface wear and age-appropriate oxidation. It has not been professionally cleaned so as not to compromise the beauty of the natural patina.
