Description: Description "Jonny Greenwood-style" mysterious tone Mini Glitch is a unique effect pedal developed by Radiohead's equipment database site "the King of Gear (tKoG)". Inspired by the randomized glitch/stutter effect of Max/MSP, it is equipped with three glitch modes, sampling size adjustment, and dry signal mute/pass selection, allowing you to fully enjoy the possibilities of glitch effects. Mini Glitch is intended for use with guitars, but it is also perfect for combining with synthesizers or processing and chopping up sound sources such as drum machines. Of course, if you combine it with a distorted guitar, it will produce a mysterious tone "Jonny Greenwood-style". ■MODES Mini Glitch was originally created to reproduce the strange guitar sound heard in Radiohead's "Go to Sleep". Jonny Greenwood created this tone using Max/MSP, but the Mini Glitch lets you recreate this effect in a pedal-sized package. The Mini Glitch is equipped with three glitch modes, which not only recreate the Radiohead sound but also expand the possibilities of glitch effects. -Random (RND) mode The start and end of the glitch are determined completely randomly by an internal random number generator. This mode recreates the Max/MSP glitch effect. -Threshold (TRSH) mode When an input exceeds the set threshold, the input is held and the glitch begins. From then on, the glitch is overwritten every time the input exceeds the threshold. You can play in an original way, such as holding only a part of the arpeggio phrase. -Switched (SW) mode The sound is held at the moment the foot switch is pressed, causing a glitch. The foot switch can be selected as momentary or latch type. ■Dry-Path The Mini Glitch can be set to mute or pass the dry signal. When the dry gate switch is set to MUTE, the dry signal is muted during the glitch. This produces a tone similar to a broken CD player. When the switch is set to PASS, the dry signal is output even during the glitch. ■Controls The SAMPLE SIZE knob adjusts the buffer size in three modes. At the fully left setting, the buffer size is random, and turning it to the right increases the buffer size. With the knob fully right, the buffer size is 1000ms in RANDOM and SWITCHED modes, and 500ms in THRESHOLD mode. ■Secondary Function Press the footswitch and turn the knob to access the secondary functions in each mode. ・Random mode: Determines the frequency of randomization, and how often sampling starts and stops. A lower setting will result in less glitching, but once it does occur, it will play for a longer period of time. ・Threshold mode: Sets the threshold level at which a new sample is triggered. A higher setting requires a stronger input to trigger a new sample. -Switched mode: Sets the maximum sampling length when the knob is set to Random (fully left). ■Technical Info Powered by 9VDC, standard 2.1mm center negative power supply. Batteries cannot be used. Current draw is approximately 60mA. *The image is a sample. ◆Condition: S: New ◆Accessories: Box Payment Please pay within 4 days after purchase.
