Description: This little box has no labels, no makers mark. The lid seems to have some sort of organic fiber under lacquer and abalone decoration inlayed over that. The lid is heavier than the bottom piece. It is not a hinged lid. This was gently used in its previous life, perhaps for rings or baby teeth or illicit drugs. I don't know!
