If the sound source (strings and magnetic pickups in this case) generates a frequency response curve that doesn’t need equalization the potential for phase shift is eliminated, which aids in keeping your low frequency tight, impactful, and clear in the analog domain. In addition, the IDLE NOISE characteristics of the DELUXE FLUX pickups have been REDUCED compared with traditional single coil pickups. This is attributed to the same SELECTED COIL TUNING technique responsible for the pickup's musically improved response cure; the frequency of RFI & EMF rejection has effectively been LOWERED, which yields less undesirable noise and hiss reaching your amplifier's input jack.
