About this Item: Back in the 1980s, Doritos used to sponsor the Doritos Beach Club for Spring Break in Daytona Beach. Basically, some Frito employees would drive around in a Doritos van and hand out freebees to the Spring Breakers. The employees would call out "Show us your Doritos!" and if they had a bag of Doritos they would get one of these Beer Mugs. This is a colorful, quart sized mug with the old Doritos logo showing the "Doritos Beach Club" on the front and "I survived Spring Break 1987" on the back. They are embossed on the bottom "THE AM PRO LINE" and "MADE IN THE USA." It would be a great addition to your Spring Break, Doritos or Frito-Lay collection. This mug is nearly 8" tall and has a diameter of 4", the handle adds another 2" These have never been used. I've had them stored in a closet since 1987...yes, I was one of those Frito employees in the van at Daytona. They look brand new, which they are. Some of them have a scratch or two but noting significant. I'd rate them as 98+ on a 100 point scale.
