Description: Miniature Sterling Silver Tea Set & Tray 5 Pce Doll House Antique John Rose 1924 This is an interesting miniature tea set, made of hallmarked English Silver and dating from 1924. There is a teapot, coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl on a filigree gallery tray with a wooden bottom - this does not look original.Length of the tray: about 10.5cm (4 inches) I have been told that this matches the 1/12th scale system but please double check measurements. Identifying marks: All items including the coffee pot lid and tray are correctly hallmarked with the lion for English silver, the anchor for Birminham and maker's marks. aThe tray and the tepot are marked with an f for 1905 plus makers marks D&S for Duncan and Scobbie, the coffee pot, sugar and milk jug are marked with Z for 1924 and makers marks JR for John Rose. Condition: The tea and coffee set are in excellent condition, but the tray has been squashed at both ends as shown, please see photos.
