Title in one line on label. Title tracks centered not justified. This release has the following cover errors (there are no label errors on this release). Julian Adderley's last name is misspelled as "Adderly" on front and back cover ("Julian 'Cannonball' Adderly" on front cover; "Julian Adderly" on back cover). Wynton Kelly appears as "Wyn Kelly" on back cover. The back cover erroneously lists "Flamenco Sketches" as track B1 and "All Blues" as track B2 while the label correctly lists "All Blues" as B1 and "Flamenco Sketches" as track B2. The number 6 is printed on the bottom right corner of the back cover. Side 1 run-outs: XSM47326-1AA (stamped) HIV (etched) Side 2 run-outs: XSM47327-1BB (stamped) IHH (etched) Vinyl has numerous light surface sleeve scuffs and several hairline scratches on either side holding grade back. Plays through strong with light background noise and "crackling"; no loud pops or skips. Labels are bright and excellent with a hint of handling wear on side 1. Cover has cornerwear, edgewear, dinged/creased right side corners, a bend/crease bottom right corner, a light bump bottom left corner, a touch of spidering/creasing around the edges (mostly spine edge), heavy ringwear/hazing on the front cover, and faint ringwear/fading on the rear cover slick. Cover has NO SEAM SPLITS. This genre-bending classic album from 1959 is considered one of the greatest jazz albums of all time, significant not only for the band, but the way this album changed how people looked at jazz in that period. Miles was at the peak of his "cool" period, blazing away with the dual saxes of John Coltrane and Cannonball Adderley in his sextet. Remember, even with such a guide, grading is still subjective. Most albums, unless noted, are visually graded under bright lights. We strive to provide as much information as possible about each album. Please ask questions if unsure about anything BEFORE you bid. Still Sealed (SS) As good as it gets. Unopened and most likely perfect all around. Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Maybe played once. Handled with utmost care. Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious signs of wear. Covers show no more than the most minor defects. The same holds true for inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc. Near Mint Minus or Very Good Plus Plus (NM- or VG++) Just a hair more wear than NM, but still very close to Near Mint overall. Vinyl may have nominal sleeve or paper scuffs, cover may have hint of wear. VG++ will be just a fraction below NM- due to one additional tiny defect. Very Good Plus (VG+) Album and cover show some light signs that it was played and otherwise handled with care of it. Record surfaces may have slight surface scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect play. If not for a couple things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. Very Good (VG) Increased scuffs or light scratches, surface noise evident upon playing. Covers and labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers, or minor seam splits. Very Good Minus (VG-) Certain background noise, possible click or pop, flawed item.
