In his own version of the famous fairy tale "Jack and the Beanstalk," Mickey Mouse and fellow adventurers Donald Duck and Goofy bravely attempt to rescue the Singing Harp from the domain of Willie the Giant in the classic 1947 animated short. Disney artists have captured this thrilling moment of escape from one of Mickey's greatest adventures in fine porcelain with brass, pewter and gold paint elements. This figurine is made of porcelain, and the process is similar to that use to make Hummel figurines. Individual pieces are molded, put together, and fired in an oven. Then they are painted and fired again. This Mickey Mouse figurine is marked on the bottom, signifying the year it was produced. The marks represent significant milestones in Disney history. The artist who designed this Disney figurine is Jacqueline Perreault Gonzales. This piece was first Introduced in 2007. The approximate size of this figurine is 4-3/4" inches. Underneath reads “Classics Walt Disney Collection Mickey and The Beanstalk Shhh Mickey Mouse Thailand” This Mickey Mouse figurine shows that is had been broken at one time on his midsection and has been glued back together. You can still see the large crack but it can easily be repainted.
