Description: Men's Apres Ski Elkskin & Shearling Hand Made Boots, Size 9-11, $145.00 These are custom/hand made boots from the cobblers at Vail Boot & Shoe in Vail, CO. The elkskin is extra thick and so is the plush shearling lining throughout the entire boot. They are hand painted and one of a kind. The crepe rubber soles are substantial yet very flexible and comfortable. These have only been worn a dozen times, largely en route to winter party venues and largely indoors. They have never been wet. See the sole pictures which show little if any wear. You will see some light scuff marks in the inner of each boot which is primarily from the crepe rubber sole of the opposite boot made while wearing. Even though you will notice a size 12 leather tag on each boot, I am a 9EE (usually wear a thick wool sock) and have used a SuperFeet wool insole which makes them fit just fine. I have advertised the size as 9 - 11 because I'm quite sure, given the plushness of the shearling lining, various size feet will find these fit great. Boot height is ~ 12", heel to toe measured on bottom of sole is ~ 12" and widest point on sole (under balls of feet) is ~ 5". I am parting with them begrudgingly because I have moved to Florida full time and will have little use for them in the future. Time for new owners to enjoy for many years to come!
