Description: Mary Gregory Cranberry Glass Enameled Painted Girl w/ Flowers I won this glass in an auction and it came with the note that is shown in the photos. It reads: "Mary Gregory, died 1908, worked in the decorating department of The Boston and Sandwich Glass Company in the 1870's and 1880's (actual was 1880-1884) Unmarried, loved children painted them on many of the glass she decorated. Probably other decorators copied her work because there is too much of it around for one woman to have done by herself". This glass stands 5 5/8" tall and is 3 1/8" wide. There are a couple of dings in the glass on the back (see last photo) and one tiny chip in the paint on her left leg (see photo #18). I am including the handwritten note so it can stay with the glass. Please read the description & view photos.
