Description: Marx 999 Armature?, NOS, EXC, does NOT pass electrical tests, ONE PIECE From what I found on line, this is an original Marx part. It is NEW Old Stock, meaning it has been stored for years. It appears to have been removed after only minutes of operation, if that. Specifications: Testing windings with my volt-ohm meter I could NOT get good readings. FOR REPAIR / REWINDERS. Shaft length: 1.237" Shaft diameter: 0.122 Full diameter: 1.20" Gear included: YES Diameter: 0.3" Ten (10) teeth. Measured Resistance: N/A failed testing Notes: No other information available. I rely on Robert Hannon's J.L. Cowen's Postwar Lionel Trains O-Gauge Reference Manuals I and II published by CrowsNest Publishing for my determination of correct resistance, and determination of which of the vexing number or armatures I have. I CAN BE WRONG - but hope you will let me know if I have made a serious mistake. I AM NOT an expert in this area! Questions along the lines of 'Will this work in my XX Loco' WILL cost extra!
