Description: Marla is made from 2 strands of lighter-weight yarn that have been dyed separately and then plied together. When worked, Marla creates a marled fabric, where the colors are uniquely distributed. The resulting marled yarn can be high-contrast and tweedy, or subtly tonal, or a bit of both.The Marla palette is connected directly to the Sami palette - they coordinate with each other to make gorgeous color pairings!Marla is hand dyed by women artisans in Manos cooperatives in Uruguay's countryside.
