Description: Mammillaria duwei for sale here. Plant is in 3 inch pot with the main stem that is near 1 1/2 inch in diameter and start to set pups around the base of the stem when mature. M. duwei is a freely clustering old cultivars characterized by very odd-looking spines which aren’t even that prickly. It is a small plant that make a flattish clump of stems clustering from the lower part. Individual stems about 2 inch in diameter, with funnel-form flowers that less deeply set, yellowish/cream to light yellow, about 3/4 of an inch long and in diameter. Inner segments lanceolate, widely spreading and stigma lobes greenish.This species is found at one location northeast of the city of Guanajuato, Mexico Plant ships bare root.
