Maharajas' Jewels Assouline 1st Edition Hardcover 2000 by Prior/Adamson, LOVELY!

Description: Utterly Magnificent Monograph from Assouline. This is a 1st Edition of one of their finest books. Oh, those Maharajas in India knew how to live, and the Jewelry was remarkable! Many color plates, but also nostalgic black and white, through the pages. Assouline publishing as always, delivers very high quality color reproductions. Nice oversized volume. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE LEOPARD SLIPCASE. Dust jacket has some wear to the edges and if you look at my 3rd pic there is a tear to the rear of the DJ in the upper right hand corner. The tear measures 2 inches. The book inside is FLAWLESS!! This book is OUT OF PRINT and not easy to find. I always pack very carefully in a BOX, stuffed thoroughly with Bubble Wrap.
