THIS SERIES A IS 70 YEARS OLD BASED ON THE BACK COVER WHICH WAS USED IN 1055 & IS IN GOOD TO VERY GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING ITS' AGE, see below. Marks: Name (photo 2), no tape or other writing on pages or covers; bottom edge of title page has a tan discolor mark, back of title page has a black crayon lines at top, facing page has a smudge & mark at side edge & last page has an orange crayon mark, Tears: A 1/4" to a top page edge & to bottom edges a 2/16", a 3/8" & a 1/2". Corners: Page have slight bends to tips & a teeny, tiny top fold. Cover are square but tips are soft, very minor color loss to top front corner & all tips have a very small paper cover loss showing the board. Binding: Tight, what is left of the foil is bright but there is foil loss on front, back & spine. Cover: Front has some color loss, a 3/16" paper cover separation at bottom board edge in groove where book bends + a small paper cover loss. Back also has some color loss, a 1 1/2" diagonal line under the fireman at left edge & a 3" line through Dumbo's forehead at bottom, a 3/8" paper cover separation at top edge in groove, a 1/2" separation at bottom groove with a 1" separation at bottom edge on inside back cover.
