It is one of many Little Golden Books based on Disney TV series or movies and designated as such with a "D" in front of their book number. Told by Irwin Shapiro with pictures by the Walt Disney Studio and adapted by Mel Crawford. It is the standard Little Golden Book size - 8 inches tall and 6-5/8 inches wide. There probably aren't too many people who grew up since the 1940s that haven't looked forward to adding another Little Golden Book to their collection - and usually writing their name in the inside cover "This Little Golden Book belongs to" square. For a children's book that is over 75 years old, this book is in good vintage condition - there are no tears or writing and the cover is sturdy.
