Description: This set was purchased new by my father for me in the early 1950's. It is used and O guage and in very good condition and was recently tested and found to be working well. The Lionel type KW Multicontrol 190 watt transformer works very well including reverse and the tender whistles. The locomotive is in excellent condition, functions like new and smokes.The original operating instructions are included. The set contains both tablet and liquid smoke. There are 5 cars in addition to the locomotive and tender. The remote control track functions well with the milk car which also functions and comes with the operating set and 2 cans. The gondola has 5 barrels. The caboose lights up. There is a Sunoco tank car and an NYC Freight Box car. All the cars come with the original boxes which are in fair to rough condition given their 70 year age. The locomotive box is in very good shape. The set comes with the original 0 gauge oval track without boxes.
