Description: Set of 3 enameled plastic 11” cars, Maplewood, Chatham and Hillside, were made 1948-49. Cars are original green with yellow details, white lettering, dark gray roofs. Chatham has a broken/missing bottom corner, otherwise cars look clean VG to EX. They have all good lettering, minor wear to yellow details, minor nicks on roofs. Cars have metal frames, diecast Timken trucks, coil type couplers, plain window plastic. Lights all worked when tested, couplers struggled, need some attention, 1 coupler shoe missing from Chatham. The Chatham also has a small crack at 1 upper corner on end. Nice looking set of 3 cars. All Items, including N.O.S. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. We do not guarantee coupler operation.
