Description: Larry Lucchino Personally Owned 1990 Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Commemorative Bat Comes directly from Larry Lucchino’s personal memorabilia collection. 1990 was the year Orioles great Jim Palmer was inducted into the Hall of Fame, Jim and Larry were good friends and this bat has a red ribbon tied around the handle, but I am unsure the reason. Larry Lucchino is known in the game of baseball as “The Curse Breaker” and is one of the most legendary club Presidents in the history of the game. He was instrumental in assembling the team that won the Baltimore Orioles the World Series Championship in 1983 and served as President & CEO of the Orioles organization from 1988-1993. He was also instrumental in building Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Bat by Louisville Slugger. Very Good condition (see pics) Measures approximately 34” long. Displays very well. A very rare and unique item from a storied career whose impact on the game of baseball cannot be understated. He changed the game and made it better, and he help build and bring Championships to teams that was never thought possible. He had a mind for the game and how it worked on and off the field. Comes with proof of authenticity including all paperwork from original sale and certificate of authenticity. Please message me with any questions. Please check my other listings, I’m selling a few other rare items from the personal collection of Larry Luccino this month.
