It has a label on the bottom that has a hand written "MEX" on it, which indicates it was hand- carved in Mexico. Hand-carved in Mexico, the intricate carvings on the 10-inch width wood make it a unique addition to any collection. This is a heavy piece weighing in at 2 lbs. It has a nice satin-like shern to it. Ot measures 10" tall, 2.5" wide, and 4.75" across the bottom of the base including the paws. This item is in very good pre-owned condition with moderate signs of wear that may actually be due to its hand-carved nature.
