The clean and simple form consists of 4 delicate arms the extend from the platform base to the 4-light cluster & shade assembly . The parts are manufactured of solid polished Brass throughout with possibly plated cast base and are very well machined and manufactured. The shade and diffuser are contemporary refabrications to match the originals and create the perfect balance and tone while casting the ideal ambiance on the minimal form. CONDITION: This striking Space Jet Age Atomic lamp is in excellent original condition, completely intact and fully functional. The solid Brass finish is clean overall and free of any scars or scratches aside from normal surface wear from use and light natural tarnish patina areas. The sockets/switch and power cord are original and have been inspected to be clean, safe and functional - the base located push switch powers all 4 shades simultaneously. The Cream colored Linen shade has been refabricated to the specs of the original as well as the quality translucent acrylic diffuser - both are virtually perfect.
