KISS Original Large Youth 1978 Tyvek Jacket with Cuffs Ace Frehley Gene Simmons

Description: This is an authentic vintage original Tyvek KISS Jacket from 1978. It has been safely stored in a completely smoke-free environment since around the time of release.It was placed in closet storage in the 1980s and remained there until the time of this listing. I am the original owner. This slightly above paper thin jacket is a 100% Spunbonded Olefin Youth Large made in the U.S.A.I would consider it too fragile to be worn, but it is suitable for display. It is a youth sized Large. Please see below for select measurements From the top of the zipper to the bottom of the zipper is approximately 19"Top shoulder seam to top shoulder seam is approximately 20". Underarm to underarm is approximately 17"From the top of the collar to the bottom of the zipper is approximately 22"Measurements are approximate and were taken with the jacket lying flat and as if it was in a zipped state. There are holes/loose stitching in each of the underarm areas. They can be seen in a semi-relaxed state in the last two images.They will expand a little if you apply pressure. The hole in the left (SS side) underarm is more notable and is made up of more than one hole. The jacket is notably wrinkled after being stored in a box with other garments for more than thirty-five years.The neck tag is wrinkled and is still completely legible and is firmly attached and is not frayed.It was very gently zipped and unzipped with care a couple of times without any issues. You can see some thread protruding from the bottom of each cuff. Approximately 1/2" on the edge of the right cuff has become unstitched.Some of the colored areas have somewhat of an almost cracked white line look here and there when looked at from an angle when the jacket is not flat.The interior is discolored to varying degrees, with the majority a tannish off-white, with some random darker spots.
