The leaves are freshly picked from healthy plants.Each leaf will be at least 4 Inches Long, and 3 Inches Wide. Some leaves might be much larger than 4x3When you order larger quantities I normally throw in a nice amount of extra leaves :) Your order will come neatly packaged and well protected with bubble wrap and cardboard. ~~Plant Information~~Kalanchoe Pinnata is an amazing perennial herb that is known worldwide for its medicinal benefits. Earning itself praising nicknames such as "Leaf of Life", "Miracle Leaf" and "Wonder of the World"It is also a very beautiful plant that develops unique flowers that are nicknamed Cathedral Bell Flowers ~~Planting Information~~If your leaf doesnt already have sprouts on it, simply place it in a sunny window and it will begin to sprout after a few days. One leaf can sprout sometimes over 5 separate plants! The sprouts on a leaf can be snipped off and planted separately. Prepare a well drained planter pot, at least a 1 gallon size. Fill with a blend of rich soil and sand. Place the sprouting leaf right on top of the dirt. Water it lightly, and daily as it begins to establish itself. Keep them well drained, and make sure they gets a lot of sunlight. Regular light bulbs are sufficient for indoor winter months, but once the temperature is reliably above 50 degrees bring them outside. You can also start these plants in something as small as a paper cup as shown in the pictures, they are perfect for sitting on a window sill ~~Medicinal Benefits~~The leaves of this plant are used in a wide variety of ways, you can make a tea which is known to help with colds and sore throat. The leaves are also used for relief on sore joints and muscles by warming a leaf up over a flame press it like a heat pad on sore joints. You can also grind it up and apply it on insect bites or rashes.
