Jay Turser JT-300-BK Checkboard pickguard/strap-Tech Upgrades

Description: This JT-300-BK has a full-tech setup and upgrades (see tech notes below). It plays and sounds excellent. Some minor patina scuffs and light scratches given the age (2010`s). Overall it is a very nice Stratocaster to add to your collection. If you’re into SKA, Cheap Trick, or like the checkerboard look this guitar is for you. This is one of the heavier quality made bodies with a beautiful maple neck and vintage style tuners. Tech notes: Added a new checkerboard pick-guard and back plate over the tremolo springs. Bridge pickup measures 8.36k, Middle pickup 7.52k, and the neck pickup 7.38k (ohms) The body cavity has been lined with copped tape shielding. All connections re-soldered. Volume and tone potentiometers cleaned with De`oxit. Added a jumper on the toggle for the middle and bridge pickups to share the far right tone pot, neck is on the middle tone pot. Leveled, crowned, and hand polished all frets. Conditioned the fretboard with Dunlop 65 lemon oil. Restrung with Super Slinky .009-.042 strings and stretched. Neck relief at .012” at the 7th fret, action at 4/64” 17th fret treble side and 5/64” bass side. Nut height is at .018” at the 1rst fret treble side and .020” bass side Tremolo is floated to stay in tune using the tremolo bar up or down. Adjusted pickup heights to 4/64" treble side and 5/64" bass side. Added a checkerboard Ernie Ball strap and a chrome tremolo bar with the black plastic tip. Body polished with Dunlop 65.
