Description: PLEASE READ. Listing includes ONE Italian Reggiani Lorosae 400mm pendant lamp SHADE ONLY. After 20+ years, I finally got around to cleaning out our attic and was surprised to find four Italian lampshades in their original manufacturers boxes. With the words “Lego Land” handwritten on the boxes and very close to Lego green color, I was not surprised when my husband explained that the company he worked for as an electrician in the 90s had done a project for Legoland in Atlanta. The shades were overage from the project and had never been installed or used, but could not be returned so he took them home and stored them in the attic. While monitors may show the color differently, the green is a very close match to LEGO green. I took a photo with some Lego bricks included, so you could see the comparison. Please note, these Lego bricks are not included in the listing. They are only to help you identify the color. I don’t know if this was a normal color for this shade or custom created at the time for Legoland. This shade would be perfect for a Lego collector or a company interested in installing a colorful, mid-century modern aesthetic. Made by Reggiani and designed by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza, this shade is impossible to get in the US, and is the large 400 mm size. Approximate sizes: Bottom rim diameter 15.75” or 400mm Height 15” or 39mm As mentioned, there is no electrical lighting fixture included, just the shade as seen in the photos. Upon inspection, I found a couple of very light scratches and of course, dust. Shade has never been installed or used. NOTE: we are going to use the original manufacturer box to ship so a shipping label will be applied to the box. The box is structurally sound to withstand shipping, but does have cosmetic damage such as water spots and dust. Since we have four available, the photos of the box/shade may not be the actual one you receive, but the photos are a good representation of how they look.
