Clare, Ireland". Back caption reads,"THE CLIFFS OF MOHER, CO. CLARE: In the heart of some of the finestcoastal and cliff scenery in the West of Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher rise sheer fromthe Atlantic. Rising to 668 feet above the Atlantic at their highest point, the Cliffstake their name from an ancient promontory fort, Mothair, which stood on Hag's Headuntil removed in the last century. The usual viewpoint for visitors is O'Brien's Tower,from where a magnificent view can be had of the Cliffs to the south, and to the northwestthe Aran Islands and the mouth of Galway Bay."
