Description: Horn Drinking Cup Mug Tankard Viking - Ale - Beer I don't know much about this horn mug/tankard other than it came from the estate of a women who appeared to travel quite a bit based on the collection of things she had. This tankard is in very good condition with normal wear on the outside that you see on horns. It's possible it's been that way since before it was crafted into a horn. See photos. The tankard is approximately 6.25" tall by 2.75" at the bottom and 2.5" at the top, not including the handle. The bottom is wood. While it appears that this could be used for drinking as the inside seems as if the wood bottom has a finish on it, I cannot say it is food safe since there are no labels and I have no knowledge of where it came from other than a traveler's estate.
