There is also a smaller piece of paper in ink that reads: "Lydia D. Wattes died at 19 yrs". Clear glass ambrotype with black iron sheetin the case behind the image. Looks like the mat has been placed on upside down but I'm offering exactly as found. Very good antique condition in half of a case, which is 6" tall. Boxed shipping.
