Description: This auction is for a L.1926 500 Drachmai banknote from Greece (P-82). This is only the 1/4 section of the note that according to the Pick catalog, were exchanged for debentures. This item is heavily circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has many heavier creases and many areas of wrinkled folding); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has many smudges, many dark and dirty areas, grease stains, areas of discoloration); edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed - edges rough in areas and oddly cut from the trimming); surface wear and fraying; edge indents/nicks (if any tears exist they are small); no holes that I could see.
