Probably closer to 70s/80s. The TOTAL length of this sandal is about 9 1/2". These SHOULD fit your foot fine if you wear a size US 5/5.5. You might fit these if you're a 6, but you'll take up most of the footbed. These are approximately a EU 35/36. If you are an EU37, these might fit you.... but then again, you'll be taking up most of the footbed and close to overhang. Solid enough to wear! Cool cute little buckles. Melissinos still makes this design!!!!!!! They call it the "Zeus 7".
