Manufactured in the United States, every piece features engravings and mil-grain work all crafted by hand at Weinman Brothers in New York City. Santa Maria Aquamarine comes fromthe state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and is extracted from metamorphic pegmatites. It was discovered in the 50s. Unfortunately, today these mines where this gem of wonderful quality and incomparable colour is extracted are practically no longer available. Santa Maria aquamarineis one of the finest varieties of beryl, featuring a deeply saturated blue colour. It is widely believed to hold the powers of the sea and considered as the Stone of the Sea,. No longer in production, becoming very rare. This pendant features: * 7 x oval shaped Santa Maria Aquamarine gemstones measuring 5x3mm of 1.75ctw. * 60 x round shaped White Zircon gemstones measuring 1.1mm of 0.3ctw. * Total carat weight of 2.05 * Crafted in sterling silver weighing 13 grams. * The pendant measures approx 49mm in length including the bale, and approx 17mm wide. * This piece includes a Sterling Silver oval belcher link chain measuring 2mm in width and 50cm in length. * The chain features a parrot clasp.
