In 1964 Ernest Trova was asked to design a felt banner by legendary art dealers Marian Goodman, Robert Graham and Barbara Kulicke, who established the Betsy Ross Flag and Banner partnership. After creating the iconic Felt Banner in an edition of 20, Ernest Trova created this screenprint in 1969. In 2020 Marian Goodman Gallery, New York mounted an exhibition curated by Dieter Schwarz from June 25, 2020 - August 28, 2020 to celebrate Marian’s landmark creation of Multiples, Inc. in the 1960’s. A catalogue was also published, which includes a complete list of the Multiples, Inc. Editions, including this Ernst Trova color screenprint, with essay by Mr. Schwarz. In pristine museum like condition, this Ernest Trova screenprint is particularly fresh and without condition issues; it is floated in a stunning wood frame so upon receipt, it is ready to be hung and enjoyed.
