Description: Elliott's Blueberry Vaccinium elliottii 25 Seeds We have quite a few bushes of Elliott's Blueberry growing naturally on almost all of our farms. They are a very hardy perennial that loves our dry & sandy soil here in the Florida Panhandle. The tiny white & pink flowers appear in early spring. Little green berries will start to form where the flowers once were. By late Spring, these berries will turn a deep blue. The plant itself is kind of unruly! It grows very tall and lanky with sprouts branching out in each direction. The leaves turn shades of orange & red by Summertime and will lose all leaves by early Fall. The berries taste wonderful! It has a very sweet flavor with the Blueberry like pucker at the end. We love to use the berries to make jelly & wine. Cardinals, Woodpeckers & Mockingbirds love to eat the berries too! These seeds were harvested April 2024 Seed Starting Seeds are extremely small & require special handling. Sow in Fall for sprigs by Spring or place seeds in the fridge for 90 days Sprinkle seeds on top of soil mix, lightly cover & keep moist. Seedlings will emerge in about 4-12 weeks Shipping Orders $10+ ship USPS Ground with Tracking for FREE! Orders under $10 ship with a USPS Stamp.
