Description: This auction is for a standard sandwich size bag full of heirloom red Egyptian Walking Onions. These came to me from an elderly Hungarian woman whose parents fled the 1956 failed Hungarian revolution against the Soviet occupation of their country. They fled with the clothes on the backs and some Hungarian purple stripe hard neck garlic and some red Egyptian Walking Onions. When they settled in South Bend they planted both and grew them ever since in the same yard. She was gracious enough to give me some starters and I have been growing them ever since. I use no pesticides or any other chemicals on my plants or on/in my soil. These are 100% organic and heirloom. Winning bidder will receive bulbils of varying sizes but the bag will be FULL.
