Description: Up for sale is a beautiful, early Aztec style Eagle medallion Henry Disston hand saw in very nice condition. This is a super rare find for collectors and woodworking enthusiasts alike. With its Inchworm logo and Aztec Optimistic Eagle design, this saw is a true gem from the 1850-1865 time period. The Disston brand is well-known for its quality and durability, making this saw a reliable tool for any carpentry or woodworking project. Its unique design and historical significance make it a must-have for any collection. Blade is 26 " long and the rip blade has 8 teeth per inch. Nib is present and in good condition. The handle is extremely nice and has been sanded and refinished only in a few coats of boiled linseed oil. Some wear on the horns and a crack on the back side with the split nuts. The blade is still pretty sharp with some minor bending and surface corrosion but overall really nice for it's age. Thanks for your interest.
