Description: Madolin is a fairly unusual pattern to find, and the plain bowl ensures it will blend well with many other antique glass pieces. This footed glass jelly compote features a detailed stem and scalloped top edge. It stands 5" in height, and can hold approx. half a pound of candy. Use for serving cool-cold foods, berries, nuts, dips and sauces. There are no chips or cracks. This one looks as if it had little to no use and was carefully stored. As with EAPG, Depression Era, and other vintage glass, there may be slight 'character' marks, bubbles, ripples and mold marks on bottoms or sides from the original mold and/or production process. Shipping: I strive to preserve historic pieces AND our natural world via recycled materials and careful packaging.
