Description: I gave the base of this glass dome a couple of coats of white chalk paint and then distressed and slightly aged it for a shabby cottage look. I sealed it with clear wax. The base is made of nice quality wood. Measurements are approximately 7 1/2" tall, with base included, and the base diameter is 5". The inside diameter of dome is 3 7/8". The glass sits in a recess in the base. Wonderful for French country and shabby cottage decor! Please contact me with any questions--thanks for looking!
