Description: Columbian Bench Vise No 38 Patent Apply For, vintage vise I've never seen one like this before with the Patent Apply For. I believe this must be one of the first Columbian vises ever made, the casting looks ruff, i wasn't sure if there was a weld repair look at last pictures but looking at the rest of the vise i think its the casting, the jaws are partially welded on. This vise is hollow, say 6" jaws on casting more like 5-3/4" wide, weights 70 pounds. Free local pick up or shipping to the lower 48 states.
