Civil war N.C.O. sword Collins and Company 1862

Description: The sale is for a Civil War 1862 Collins And Company noncommission officer sword. This sword has had the blade broken off at 27.5 inches. I believe the original length was 31.5 inches. I would like to think this was broken in battle and not by some little boy playing with his great grandfather's sword. The grip seems to be in very good condition for its age. This would still make a very nice wall hanger.
