JH Miller was known for high quality picture frames and were the choice of picture frames by many of the leading artists on the East coast and beyond. This frame with the swept Oak leaf hand carved designs in the corners with a nice rich gold gilded surface. The frame being a classic Arts & Crafts style picture frame with a shallow cove moldings and fine carved matched corners The surface with an overall gorgeous richly gold gilded surface The frame maintaining remnant of the original JH Miller, Springfield, Massachusetts paper label on the reverse (see pics) The frame retaining it's original metal artist plaque from a previous painting. Easily removed. (See pics) Condition: The frame in overall good condition. Structurally fine. The gilded surface having only age appropriate wear. Otherwise.
