Description: An antique Chinese necklace that has colorful hand-blown beads that approximate different shades of green jade. The necklace is comprised of Chinese Peking glass beads in different colors and sizes. An ensemble a large translucent blue-green bead flanked by two opaque faceted turquoise beads anchor the bottom of the necklace. Eleven more blue-green beads separated by smaller (mostly) lighter color beads extend from the bottom ensemble. One of the smaller separating beads in this portion of the necklace is turquoise, rather than light green. 31 spinach jade-colored beads alternating with gold and other color smaller beads complete the necklace. The necklace is long enough to place over your head and so does not feature a closure. The beads are strung on a brown string. MEASUREMENTS Hangs 11 ½” (29.2 cm). Glass beads ranged from 3/8” (16 mm) to 3/16” (5mm). Weighs 3.1 oz (90 g) CONDITION A few beads have colloidal chips. Several of the beads also have manufacture flaws, such as lines and bubbles in the glass. Otherwise, they are in good condition and have a nice, aged look. The cord is in excellent condition too.
