Description: This is a 6 panel CHINESE COROMANDEL FOLDING SCREEN room divider. It is exquisitely carved with colorful flowers, birds of several varieties and a fantastic twisting vine or tree encompassing all 6 panels. In the center are two incredibly detailed large ornate feathered birds with dramatic plumage. Their wings have very intricate multi-level patterns and color variations (see photos 10 - 14). There are quite a few flowers with mother of pearl highlights and also in some details in the central main birds. They are 7 feet in height with a total length of 9 feet 2 inches when unfolded. There are a few minor chips from age but are mostly unnoticeable. They are quite heavy so this will be a pick up only item. I'm located just east of San Diego, California.
