Description: CEM72012 1/72 PWIV Bomb Replica This set comprises of miniature replica in 1/72nd scale. Designed to get the most accurate detail for the scale, this miniature is the most accurate rendition of the PWIV carried by Harriers, Tornadoes and the Eurofighter (Typhoon) to date. Entering RAF service in 2008, this weapon was used in course of time till now and in notable Operations Herrick, Ellamy and Shader. Key Features of this set:-Separate parts with keyed features for alignment and positioning.-Three types of model kit/airframe mounting choices...MACE, bale lug and a optional holed version that like to pin their weapons to their models for sturdiness. Keyed for positioning too since the MACE offers a wider pattern than the bale lug system. -MXU-650 features open end with fins visible from aft, arming wire keeper and guide present along with wire tether represented on top.-Guidance unit portrays arming wire guide and hardware. -Choice of solid lens option, or if you have scrap clear sprue laying around, a small mold is supplied to heat plastic with candle and smash into the mold and cut away the resulting clear lens to glue on the lens less seeker head. Polishing with fine sandpaper and cloth will be required.-Finely recessed and raised detail where appropriate and accurately rendered shape. -Maximum details and modular build allowing the build of a very detailed replica of this bomb type not normally found on the market. -Scored break lines in carrier material allow snapping away sections to permit easier access with tools for clean and safe part removal. -Comprises of enough parts to make two replicas.-Available in three major scales 72, 48 and 32nd. Instructions. Part can be removed easily using a #11 x-acto blade, small side cutters and or nail clipper works well. Dust mask and appropriate eye wear protection is necessary.
